Before the Spanish brought the Apaches the horse in 1680, they used to cover incredible
distances on foot:in moccasins. Our “Apache” is based on this traditional, early shoe.
Only top-class pieces of elkskin are crafted on the natural BÄR last where they are
given a calfskin underfoot lining.
The holes for the moccasin seam are pierced by hand to flexibly, yet reliably, combine the
two leather elements of the shoe with a special, waxed thread. A 100% natural latex sole
with zero heel, freedom for your toes and a soft Poron® footbed is raised and stitched
at heel and toe. You will never be at war with your feet again.
